During our visit to Narok Kenya this past January to dedicate the land for building Goshenland Academy & Children’s Home, Sending Ollie Worldwide held 2 village town hall meetings: The first in Ilariak Village and the second in Oldonyo Orasha Village. These meetings led to the formation of our four 2014 Goals which also include a nutrition and sustainability component and transportation as follows:

SOW Mission House Rent – $175 x 12 = $2,100/year

Water Delivery – $100 x 12 = $1,200/ year
Students Uniforms $56.25 x 100 Students = $5, 625
Student Tuition, Meals & Fees – $36, 000/year
(100 Students x $360 per year ( 9 month school year)

The total cost of the projected additional expenses for 2014 is $61, 425

SOW will hold USA fundraisers and implement local sustainability programs such as Goshenland Poultry Farm and a trial Empowerment Livestock Barter Program which allows families who own cows and/or goats but have no finance to trade livestock to help with educating their children.
